Seizing the day ~ my Younique journey so far

I've been working with Younique for almost two months now, just two months! And my life has changed beyond belief!!

I was approached by an old school friend who runs her own beauty business, she offered me some discounted treatments and "oh by the way I've started using this incredible mascara -why don't you try it" she says.

I tried it. I hosted a party for her. I got free make up for hosting so I got my 3d mascara for free (yes!) And I was hooked!

I thought about signing up, but honestly I didn't have the money. And I didn't want to ask Mr O to help me out as I hate asking for money! So I had a few bridal clients, I used that money to buy my Younique kit, and I started selling immediately! Within four weeks I'd climbed from white status to yellow status to pink status! That's two pay rises in a month! I hit fast start too which means another bonus. AND I had won two incentives which meant I had even more make up I could keep for myself or sell for the cash!

I don't have to ask Mr O for money to do fun things anymore. I can socialise with my friends, buy clothes, book weekends away and I've always got money on me for day to day life, whereas before I didn't have that financial independence because I have been a stay at home mum for four years. It's amazing how it's given me such a huge boost! I have something that is mine, I don't have to share it with the kids, I don't have to ask permission of anyone before I make a decision as it's my business and I run it my way! And business is booming!

Another reason I love it is for the products, they really are that good and I use them every day, I use them on my clients, and I will continue to use them until I am old and grey! (Cor that rhymes? I'm a poet and I don't know it!)

The support I receive from my up line is incredible they are there day and night for me, and they really have given me the tools to take my business further. Don't get me wrong it's not easy working from home with a 3 year old and a 2 year old who demand my constant attention - especially with the non sleeping 2 year old! But I work hard because I know it will pay off! Looking at the success of my peers in the US motivates me, and in the UK we have Claire and Katie who are the UKs first black status presenters (they're absolutely killing it out there!) Knowing they can do it helps me to keep on keeping on! If I can duplicate the success I've already seen in two months then this time next year people I could be just like Katie and Claire!!
